My DL speed keeps fluctuating between 0-600 kbps. I am running an internet speed of 50 Mbps and can download anything else with a speed of at least 1 Mbps. I unchecked the 'Automatically detect settings' in the Internet Options, installed the most up to date drivers etc. I do not have any firewall besides Windows Defender. I also do not use Hamachi or any other kind of VPN. How do i increase the DL speed?
U-Verse Download Speeds Inconsistent. Then slow to 25k then speed right back up then slow down again, so on and so forth. Wish I know what was going on. DSL was slower but very consistent. Overall even though I've got double the download speed I'm not able to download files any faster. My downloads on STEAM fluctuate between 1.5MB/sec.
Same problem here. While I dont have a very fast internet speed I still get 50kbps max wich is hilarious. I tried all the suggestions i could find, nothing worked of course.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you guys tried all the steps in the support guides? like port forwarding, clearing cach, DNS flush, going to internet propretiesconnectionsLan settings and uncheck automatic detect settings...? if the problem still persists it is likely a network issue.
go to 'Device manager' and expand the 'network adapter' tab, right click your current network adapter and clic properties, now go to 'power management' tab and uncheck 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' next to go the 'advanced' tab, under the 'property' listing scroll down and select 'speed and duplex', now whether you modemrouter is recent or and older one the 'value' should varie, if it is a recent more up to date modemrouter set the value to 100Mbps Full Duplex, if it is an older one( like mine) set the value at 10 Mbps Full Duplex.
this was the only thing that worked for me, even after trying all the 'solutions' on the forums. hope it helps you guys, cheers.

Thanks a ton, man! I looked for over an hour and none of the solutions worked. But going into the device manager and changing my 'speed and duplex' to 100 mb/s seemed to fix the issue instantaneously. It was previously on automatic negotiation. I'm now downloading at over 15 mb/s! Again, thank you!

Thanks Combs! You've saved me lots of time dude!
Patches are downloading at normal speed again after changing my wireless adapter's power/sleep settings following Shogun's suggestion.
my internet is quite good. and i use a wired connection for my computer. when i update games on steam, origin and other programs, it updates at about 30-60 mb/s. but for some reason, when i am downloading games and updating games on the battle.net app, its only doing it at 5-9 mb/s. anyone have any solutions on why this could be?
I did everything as suggested except that speed and duplex were not there for me to change under my wifi adapter property settings. It was there under the ethernet properties but i am not using ethernet. I Checked the speed an unchecking the first box boosted my download from 500kbs to 4.5mbs. Not sure if there is anything else to make it better but this works too.
it begins with a good speed for me and than it drops down until it is 0 b/s

Thanks, man. Setting it to 10Mbps Full Duplex at least stabilized the speed at a moderately higher rate.
This is actually the most useful thing ever. Thanks dude!

Same here, anyone found a solution yet? Nothing from the mentioned above works for me tho, it's a bit annoying :( Any help apreciated.
Tried the above method, did not change. Starts at 6 mb/s, then drops to 0. Please Help!
Funny thing is, it'll drop to 0 B/s, but the download will still commence full speed. I don't know, might be a graphical glitch for me.

Also having this problem here. Currently trying to download the newest Overwatch update, and it starts off at normal speed then quickly slows, eventually dropping to 0 b/s.

Same problem here. At ~8GB remaining, it started to drop from 5-6 MB/s, all the way to 0 B/s. Sometimes it hovers around 100 B/s. Just pausing and unpausing the download repeatedly. I tried flushing DNS, reinstalling Battle.Net App, port forwarding w/ DMZ, no proxy, no VPN, no 'automatically detect settings.' This is a !@#$show, Blizzard, and it isn't the first time I've had this exact problem with your garbage app.
Same issue as Maltease.
Having the same 0 B/s problem
